Adriano Fagundes, originally from Brasilia, has been photographing people and places from all regions of Brazil for several years and his work is definitely from the heart and soul. The black and white and color photos have a captivating way of bringing you into the moment. Fagunde’s photography has been exhibited in Europe, Morocco, Brazil and most recently at the United Nations in NYC. He trained under Vogue photographer, Arthur Elgort, and his clients include Conde Nast Traveler, Vogue, and Sephora. Fagundes has also spent the past five years documenting the Amazon River and the communities along the way. These photos of the villages and the native Indians along the Amazon have been shown in Morocco and Washington, DC in an exhibit titled ‘The Brazilian Amazon’. Fagundes is interviewing publishers to print a book of this photographic journey of the Amazon and its people.
